The foundation of our ministry to adults is found in our small groups. Small groups are an opportunity for adults to connect with other adults at a similar stage in life and study the Bible. Each Sunday our leaders seek to teach the Scriptures then help you apply the text to your life in a meaningful way. These groups are a great way to meet other people in the church and grow in your faith. We have many different Sunday School classes available for adults in all stages of life from young marrieds to senior adults. Find one here and we will see you Sunday at 8:45. If you want we can also help you find a small group by filling out the form below.
Men and Women’s Ministries
We currently have three different Bible studies meeting Sundays at 5:30p. Women are studying Keep It Shut, a study to better understand how our words matter if we are to best reflect and advance the kingdom of God. Bedelia Russell leads this study in Room 177. Men are exploring The Man Code, which provides tools for a balanced life to strengthen your relationship with God, friends, community and world. Farrell Cox facilitates this study in Room 175. Steve Farris teachs another study on Becoming a Contagious Christian, which equips Christians to share the Gospel naturally, in Room 145. We also have different events for marriage enrichment, personal growth, and fellowship. Email Bill Stone at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information on these studies.
In addition to Bible study many fellowship and service opportunities are available. Monthly luncheons are held the second Sunday; each Friday at 10:00 am. Fun Friday meets for food, prayer, devotional thought, and games. The Happy Travelers take trips monthly including day trips, overnight trips, and week long trips. Visitation to homebound and healthcare facilities is ongoing. For more information you can download our August Senior Happynings Newsletter and 2015 Happy Travelers Schedule.
