The purpose of Cookeville Kids is to see children desire God, be discipled and dedicate themselves to service in God’s Kingdom. It is never too early to build that desire for God by teaching children about God’s love. That is what we teach children as young as infancy. We also provide a safe and secure area for your children while you are in your small group and worship. When you come to the nursery on the 2nd floor, you will be greeted by our friendly Cookeville Kids volunteers who will help you check your child in.
We offer different classes for your preschooler that are divided by age. Our preschool wing is found on the second floor just down the hall from the Sanctuary. This is a great time for children to make friends and learn about Jesus as they are taught by caring and loving adults. Children’s Church is available for 4 & 5 year olds each Sunday during the 8:00 and 10:45 a.m. worship services. This worship time is designed just for them and meets in Room 249.
Through M&M Sundays we seek to build a desire for God and His word in our children as they participate in Music and Memory from 5:30-7:00 pm. Children from 3 years old-kindergarten learn to sing the truths of God and begin to learn the basics of music through choirs. Our 4 & 5 year olds begin memorizing scripture to hide in their heart while also studying the Bible and participating in games and activities in TeamKid.
Childcare is provided for birth-3 year olds in the nursery for those who are involved in Bible study from 5:30-7:00 pm
Mission Kids gives 4 & 5 year olds the opportunity to study and memorize scripture while also applying it by serving and learning how to minister to others in our community and around the world in Mission Friends. Mission Friends meets from 6:00-7:30 pm in Room 249.
Childcare is provided for birth-3 year olds in the nursery for those who are involved in Bible study from 6:00-7:30 pm.
