Our recreation ministry exists to provide activities in which people of all ages can desire Jesus Christ, be discipled and have the opportunity to devote themselves to service.
Within our Family Life Center, we have an exercise room with weights, treadmills, stationary bike and other equipment that is open throughout the week for you to workout. The gym is available for walking and other simple exercise activities throughout the week as well. On Wednesday afternoons after school children and youth can come play basketball, kickball or other games, roller skate and much more.

We’ll have Upward Basketball Camp October 9-13 for children in kindergarten-6th grade. Adult and youth coaches provide instruction on basic skills in drill stations while also implementing skills through fun games. Children also have the opportunity to compete against other kids in their age group each day. We’ll also have a devotion each day.
Our Upward Basketball and Cheerleading league is for those in kindergarten-8th grade. All leagues besides kindergarten are broken down into boys and girls. Teams will have practice once a week for one hour and have one game a week.
More information about Upward Sports can be found on our Upward Sports page.
