The Ministry of Music & Worship – Connecting People to Jesus Christ through Psalms, Hymns & Spiritual Songs. We seek to glorify Jesus in our worship through different choirs, bands, and orchestra. Choirs are available for all ages from preschool to Sanctuary Choir through senior adult choir.  We also want to use you to lead worship through playing an instrument in our praise band or orchestra. We have room for everyone so if you want to help lead as people encounter Jesus in worship then let Todd know or come to one of the listed rehearsal times.

The Sanctuary Choir and orchestra are our primary leaders in worship each Sunday. The choir practices on Wednesdays from 6:30-7:30p on the second floor behind the Sanctuary stage. Orchestra meets on Sundays at 4:00p in the Sanctuary. The Music Ministry will present True Light: A Celebration of the Birth of Christ on Sunday, December 13 at 6p in the Sanctuary. This night will feature carols along with musical presentations from the Chi Rho Youth Choir, Praise Band, Yadah, the Sanctuary Choir and Orchestra. Our annual tasting party will follow in the Fellowship Hall and gym.

Our media team is vital part of leading worship. This team helps with sound mixing, lighting, and video production on Sundays. We also broadcast our services on channel 192 so this team helps prepare that broadcast and operates the cameras. If interested in serving on this team, please contact Todd at tarnold@fbccookeville.org.

Chi Rho Tour 2014.

This June we went to the beautiful city of New Orleans to sing about our Savior, Jesus Christ. We went got to sing in many different areas about what Jesus has done for us. It was great to encourage the people of New Orleans and to share the Gospel through song and the Word.
